NUML runs its own educational channel on FM 104.6 under the call signal: NUML CALLING. The channel is intended to create academic, intellectual, artistic, literary and research pursuits by projecting curricular and co-curricular activities of the university in the broader perspective of Pakistan's world of learning. The purpose is to provide an alternate forum where students and faculty members discuss and elaborate concepts needing clarification, deliberate problem areas and equip themselves with the latest developments and researches in their respective fields. Breathing in fresh air of new information, other then their prescribed courses, the students elevate their competence level and improve their communication skills.

The channel also collaborates with international broadcasting organizations like Deutche Welle for literary and scientific programs. A proactive approach is adopted to involve maximum number of students and faculty members in the program Fare. The program fare consists of talk shows, extension lectures, interviews, literary magazines and news bulletins as well as reports on the proceedings of the events at NUML.
